"Do exactly what you would do if you felt most secure."
-Meister Eckhart
What makes you feel secure?
I'm not talking about savings accounts and alarm systems or fancy 5- star safety rated automobiles. How do you act when you feel free to be truly yourself? When you're around "safe" people?
Do you twirl like a little girl? Do you dance and clap? Do you joyfully sing regardless of being in tune or not? Do you attempt risky ventures that you may fail at?
The ONE true thing that is the most secure in the world is God's love - Romans 8 says there is nothing that can separate us from His love - it changes everything!
At the dinner table tonight, share around this question: "How would tomorrow look different if you did what you do when you feel secure?"
Paula Gamble loves Jesus...and music, international travel, wind (preferably warm) blowing through her hair while she’s on a boat or driving with the windows open, wearing shorts,
putting her feet up, finding good hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and having a nice glass of
wine to complete the perfect meal.
She loves helping others attend to God's loving and leading in their lives and creatively utilizes her music, writing and communication skills to foster environments where people can abide more closely with God. Paula loves caring for souls by helping people identify and integrate the reality of God in the ordinariness of daily living. One of the primary ways she does this is through facilitating reFresh Spiritual day retreats around the Portland/Vancouver
area.
